  Do not miss the Second Annual Heady Trotter 4 Miler at the Alchemist in Stowe, Vermont.  If you love Heady Topper, the Heady Trotter will be your favorite race. Act fast, the race sold out in just a few weeks last year.

  • $45: September 4 - Race Day

  • 4 Mile Race starts and finishes at the Alchemist

  • Chip timed, certified course

  • Music and Beer Festival 10: 00 A.M  - 2:00 P.M.

  • Heady Topper, Custom Knit Scarf and Koozie to all finishers.

  • Lawn game zone with Cornhole, Life Size Beer Pong and Kan Jam

  • Food Truck festival at the finish line!

EARLY + RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP

 

Early bib pickup:

Friday, October 18 from  3:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Alchemist Brewery.

Saturday, October 19 from 11:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Alchemist Brewery.

The parking lot at the brewery only has about 100 spaces, we will also be utilizing the grass lot at 1940 Mountain road, look for the banners. To avoid frustration we request that you carpool. Additionally, we will have parking attendants to ensure a safe and orderly parking lot. You will be able to pick up all of your race swag, bibs hats, etc. and buy beer in the retail store.

 

Race Day bib pickup will be 8:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. at the brewery. Race time is 10:00 a.m.

T-shirts are available online and will be available for sale at packet pickup.  We will also have additional tin tackers, koozies, knit hats, scarves and shirts and much more for sale! There is no race day parking at the brewery.

Topnotch Lower Meadow Field-

We will have shuttle buses starting at 7:30am and running through 2:30pm

There is NO race day parking at the brewery.

Green Racing

In a concerted effort to reduce waste, this event will be "Bring Your Own Water Bottle". 

 

Instead of commonly used water bottles, compostable cups will be filled with water at the finish line.  Food waste will be diverted into compost toters, and all trash will be sorted for recycling. Volunteer Waste Warriors will be on site to help divert and sort.

STOWE ADAPTIVE SPORTS 

Stowe Adaptive Sports improves the quality of life for persons with disabilities living in or visiting Vermont by sponsoring participation in adaptive sports and recreational programs. They work  cooperatively with partner organizations to enhance their ability to deliver a quality experience to persons with disabilities and further their mission through these activities: 

  • Providing scholarships to Vermont residents living with permanent disabilities that fund programs offered through partner organizations;

  • Providing grants to support advanced training to adaptive coaches affiliated with partner organizations;

  • Providing specialized adaptive equipment.

Every Heady Trotter finisher earns a custom Heady Trotter Koozie and commemorative custom woven Scarf.

The Alchemist is a family run brewery specializing in fresh, unfiltered IPA. John and Jen Kimmich originally opened The Alchemist as a 60 seat brew pub in the village of Waterbury in 2003.

 

After eight years of success and growing popularity, they decided to open a small production brewery. Today The Alchemist currently operates two breweries in Vermont and is recognized for brewing some of the world's best beer.
